SDIC Power has organized the coal-fired power plants in which it has a controlling share to participate in the long-term coal supply contract program launched by local governments and the power plants have reached intentions on signing long-term coal supply contracts, which has laid a solid foundation for power supply in this winter and the coming spring.

Fourth, SDIC Power makes sure that coal inventory is sufficient for all electricity generating plants and focus is laid on those plants whose coal inventory is below seven-day consumption. Once there rises such a situation, the power company will report to related government departments and the local governments while coordinating with coal producers and transportation companies to win their support.

Fifth, SDIC Power has instructed that all the coal-fired power plants in which it has a controlling share get well prepared for cold weather, stock sufficient materials and inspect heat supply facilities to make sure that electricity generating units operate safely and stably in the winter.

Tianjin SDIC Jinneng Electric Power Co., Ltd.

Tianjin SDIC Jinneng Electric Power Co., Ltd. works hard with united efforts to guarantee power supply to Tianjin and has won high praises from the CPC Tianjin Municipal Committee, Tianjin Government and the State Grid Corporation of China.

Tianjin SDIC Jinneng Electric Power Co., Ltd. worked against the clock to complete the the overhaul of its No. 2 generator unit ahead of schedule and started generating electricity for the power grid on September 24 under the situation that the operation rate of coal-fired electricity generator units was below 70% in Tianjin city. With operation of the No. 2 generator unit, all the four generator units at Tianjin SDIC Jinneng Electric Power Co., Ltd. are operating smoothly and providing steady supply of electricity to the power grid.

Tianjin SDIC Jinneng Electric Power Co., Ltd. has also set up a special team to make sure that coal supply is guaranteed. They send people to coal mines, and increase purchase quantity and frequency of coal to meet the challenge from tight supply of coal. July is normally the month for fastest increase of coal reserves for power plants in Guizhou Province.
