SDIC Group Chairman Bai Tao met Duan Dengyun, Secretary of the CPC Ningxian County Committee, Acting County Magistrate Feng Yi and their delegation on October 18, 2021.

Chairman Bai welcomed the delegation and recalled his visit to Qingyang, Gansu Province, for a meeting on fixed-point poverty alleviation and his research tour on assisting Ningxian and Heshui in rural revitalization in May this year. Bai said that in the 14th Five-Year Plan, SDIC will join hands with Ningxian County on further enhancing its poverty alleviation achievements, and, at the same time, play an active role in promoting rural revitalization of the county. Bai pointed out that (SDIC) will implement the instructions on "ensuring that poverty relief responsibilities, policies, assistance, and monitoring continue even after a county is removed from the poverty list" and earnestly exercise its responsibility of assisting the county in poverty alleviation; optimize its work mechanism to develop a fixed-point poverty alleviation exchange mechanism, innovate poverty relief methods and emphasize on implementation; and deepen poverty alleviation through developing local industries on the basis of paying attention to the characteristics of the local economy and with consideration of the special advantages of SDIC, strengthen coordination and integrate with the local development plan.

Duan Dengyun expressed his gratitude to SDIC for its long time outstanding contributions to Ningxian County in assisting the county to win the fight against poverty. He said that SDIC firmly implements the decisions of the CPC Central Committee, adheres to the principle of meeting the needs of Ningxian County with SDIC's capabilities and goes all out to help the county in the sectors of fostering industries, infrastructure construction, education and health, and increasing people's confidence and helping them acquire knowledge and skills in the process of poverty alleviation. This has helped Ningxian County to have learned advanced development concepts, down-to-earth work style, scientific way of doing jobs and first class management mode from SDIC. Ningxian County will take SDIC's fixed-point poverty alleviation as an opportunity to solidify projects, use funds well, make full use of the advantages, spare no efforts in enhancing poverty alleviation achievements, promote rural revitalization and transform SDIC's strong support in poverty alleviation into great motivation for pushing high quality economic and social development of the county and turn them into fruitful results.

The two sides also exchanged ideas on strengthening connection and coordination, optimizing work mechanism and further promoting rural revitalization.

Attending the meeting were also Liu Yanghe, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee directly under SDIC and Director of SDIC's Rural Revitalization Office, Li Liying, Deputy Director of SDIC Party-Masses Affairs Department, and Tang Chaoping, Assistant to Director of SDIC Group Office and Deputy Director of Support Center; and Deputy Magistrate Han Zhijie of Ningxian County, Deputy Magistrate Zhang Dong and leading officials from the Rural Revitalization Bureau of Ningxian County.
