On July 3rd, SDIC signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Everbright Group(CEG) in Beijing. SDIC Chairman Bai Tao, CEG Chairman Li Xiaopeng, SDIC President Shi Hongxiang, CEG Vice Chairman & President Wu Lijun, SDIC CFO Li Ruge, SDIC Vice President Yang Xiaohui, SDIC Vice President Licheng·Danzeng Nima attended the signing ceremony.

Bai Tao briefed his counterpart on the transformational development and operation of SDIC. He said that SDIC had gradually formed its business portfolio focusing on infrastructure-related industries, financial services & other services and emerging industries with strategic significance in domestic and overseas market after years of restructuring. Bai Tao pointed out that SDIC was formulating its 14th Five-year Plan. He had the hope that the two sides could take advantage of this strategic agreement to strengthen cooperation in financial, industrial investment & fund, environmental protection, health, overseas market with a view to achieving the strategic goals set by the two sidesby complimenting each other, sharing results and win-win cooperation.

Li Xiaopeng expressed his admiration of SDIC development mode combining industrial investment and financial services as well as his endorsement on the 14th Five-year Plan of SDIC. He said that the two sides had similar business portfolio. The cooperation between the two had great significance in term of political, economic, historic and humanity sense. He pointed out that the strategic cooperation covered many areas such as finance, environmental protection, medical care & old-age caring, tourism, S&T as well as people’s livelihood. He expressed the hope that the two sides could establish communication mechanism and make the cooperation a model for all. 

The persons in charge of relevant business sectors also briefed the other side on the latest development and exchanged views on how to carry out future cooperation.

Yang Xiaohui and Fu Wanjun singed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective sides. According to the agreement, the two would strengthen cooperation in the field of comprehensive finance, industrial investment, environmental protection, tourism, health, S&T, innovation, overseas market and personal comprehensive service, etc.
